The 4-H Program in Salt Lake County is a youth organization that spans all interests, races, and backgrounds. In 1998 4-H in Salt Lake County reached 12,630 youth.

4-Herīs can explore a variety of projects, more than 100 in all. 4-H projects include topics such as pet care, child care, woodworking, music, food preservation, cooking, sewing, rocketry, clowning, livestock, horses, community service, environmental stewardship, heritage, and much more.

Community service is a highlight of the 4-H program. 4-H is a program dependent on volunteers and youth. If you are interested in learning more about 4-H or becoming a volunteer, please contact our office at;
