Down-payment Assistance Program

First-time homebuyers who earn a low or moderate income may qualify for the Down-payment Assistance Program. The program is operated by the Salt Lake Community Development Corporation. There are three different down-payment assistance options available:

Magna Housing Trust Fund

Up to $5,000 is provided as a three percent (3%) 10 year loans to help finance the purchase of homes in the Magna and Kearns areas of Salt Lake County.

American Dream Downpayment Initiative (ADDI)

Down-payment assistance is provided to households to help purchase homes anywhere in Salt Lake County except for Salt Lake City.

HOME Downpayment Assistance Program

Provided to households to help purchase homes in West Jordan, Taylorsville, Sandy, Kearns, and Magna.
