The Refugee Targeted Assistance Grant supports the Utah Refugee Employment and Community Center. It is located in the premises of the Asian Association of Utah at 1588 South Major Street (35 East), Salt Lake City, Utah 84115.

The center's multilingual staff helps recently resettled refugees find employment and locate other needed services. It also works with some former refugees to enable them to upgrade their employment and advance professionally. In addition, the center's pool of interpreters assists refugees with translation in 17 different languages, including Arabic, Bosnian, Chad, French, Farsi, Macedonian, Russian, Samoan, Serbo-Croatian, Somali, Spanish, Sudanese, and Swahili.
